Welcome to the LBSCR Locomotive Sociery, where we aim to build engines from the London Brighton and South Coast Railway and many more back to steam and life on the rails. Based out of three different countries, the Society aims to build engines not only from the London, Brighton and South Coast Railway, but from many railways and railroads around the world.
The Project
What Were Building
Based out of three different countries, the locomotive society is bound set determined to explore all options for our first engine. The LBSCR L 4-6-4T “Baltic” is our hefty first starters. We know it’s no Tornado, but we’re ready to be mainline certified and hauling even the best of the press. With Dai Woodham and Brighton the running names, number 334, Next in LBSCR scheme, 2334, next in the SR scheme, and 32334, next of BR scheme, the engine will run in our favorite LBSCR Brown and Southern Olive Green.
